You know how certain people are termed as an overnight success? I sort of hate this term. Because in reality a person might have become famous all of sudden and everybody might have wanted to know something or the other about him/her but what they hardly ever acknowledge is the way the person got to where he/she is. I have very often seen people comment negatively on some of my favourite blogs, the owners of which now travel the world, go to fashion weeks and wear Dolce and Gabanna and any label they could possibly wish to. Why shouldn’t they? They spent a lot of their time, energy and effort to get where they are today. Because their posts in the beginning had thrifted stuff and clothes from the local mall just like any other person struggling to make it big in their careers. Why are some people judgemental about another person’s success? Why do they usually think the person is ‘lucky’ rather than thinking ‘this girl must have worked really hard to get where she is’?
Shot these pictures at Juhu Beach late in the evening and was pleasantly surprised to see people playing good old housie, having little picnics on checkered sheets and chilling out on the sandy shore. Mumbai, ever so lively.
