My very talented photographer friend —Rema, was in Goa a couple of months back and we had a strenuous day of shoots planned right from 5:00 am in the morning. We shot three separate projects on the day including this fun personal shoot. Rema had the perfect dress for the shoot which she wanted to capture in motion and as you know I am always up for adding some movement while I pose. Looking at the pictures now, it almost seems like I was embodying the movements of a jelly fish. With every shot I earnestly twisted, turned and played around with my body language to make the dress form different shapes. The black textured rocks could not have provided a better contrast for this fragile, fluid dress, alongside the stark 2:00 pm heat of the sun. As always Rema captured each movement beautifully; every little hand gesture, every swivel in the direction of the camera and every flip of my messy braid.
