I was thinking of ways in which I could make a sari look slightly different from how it is usually worn. I paired my sari with a simple kurti and wore it with a small underskirt instead of a petticoat to let the sheer fabric show off some leg. I wanted to make it look a bit casual rather than the usual decked up sari looks, even though the sari by itself is fit to be worn for a wedding. So I tried dressing the whole look down with the help of minimal makeup and a pair of high heels devoid of any accessories.

Triveni Sarees is a website which sells some pretty neat sarees and ethnic outfits. Though the website is not the most fashionable looking, they do have really great customer service. They deliver the sari with the fall attached on request and can have everything stitched up for you as well, from blouse to petticoat at an affordable cost which is pretty cool! Not everything on the website is complimentary to my taste but I found a few saris which were really beautiful including the one I chose. I am somehow always attracted to cream, white and nude colors when it comes to saris and this one is my third acquisition in the same set of shades. That is saying a lot as I own only about five saris in totality. The sari I ordered looked slightly different on the website as compared to how it looked when I received it but was stunning nonetheless. I hope you guys like the look and do shop the sari by clicking on the link above if you wish to have it!
